If you look east from the balcony, you will see Vitznau. And how nice would it be to walk to Vitznau? But there you can see high red rock walls, which seem insurmountable. But it's quite doable 🙂

A nice varied day trip which we highly recommend goes from Weggis by ship to Treib. Then you get on the funicular which takes you to Seelisberg. From there you follow the "Swiss path" all the way to Bauen (approx. 6km). From there you go back to Weggis by boat.
' Ant weighing ' near Schwyz
The "ant weighing," I was told, is a hike that can be done with children from 3-4 years. The path is approx. 2 km long. Attention, the start and end point of the hike is not the same. There are also no parking spaces at the starting point. It is recommended to travel by public transport.
Chäferliweg
The approx. 3km long Chäferliweg is located in the wild Muotathal valley. The valley station can be reached either by private car or by public transport. From our apartment, the journey by car takes approx. 45 mins.
